I am not fan of Brigs due to excuses he uses in fights, and way he acts. However that stuff about Atlas is true, others have said same and worse. He ****s with fighters heads. i wish he had commented on Atlas bio, where tough teddy claims he had to protect Briggs from redneck bully.
Sounds like some sketchy ass ****. Atlas seems like a good dude when he speaks, if a bit...off, acts like he cares about the sport, but stories like this always creep me out.
They should get Teddy Atlas for the main role in next "Saw" movie. He's one creepy, crzy mofo. He looks like a pyscho with his scar.
Not sketchy, that is was Atlas is. Guy is phony from way back. Here is a guy who was about to quit boxing totally cause he had no one to train, and was taking acting lessons to be actor. Then Briggs and Moorer fell in his lap, and he made name for self with his carrying on in corner. Lucky for him since his acting must have sucked. In movie Gloria with Sharon Stone, he had all lines cut. There is a reason every fighter he had dumped him or fought with him and left. Same for managers and promotors. ****, he even screwed over D'Amato and Rooney after they saved his ass form jail. Right after Cus died Atlas tried to start rumor Cus was a ***, then he denied it after interview with him was published in People magazine. When he got flack from Cus's friends who called him on his bull****, he said author of article made it up by twisting his words. He's a piece of ****.
