I had to turn the brook fight off last night because the commentary was awful. The pole was poor didnt throw his right once,Sky tried to make out that the polish guy was someone who had been in with people like duran and hearns. He's never been stopped He's never been stopped He's never been stopped He's never been stopped He's never been stopped He's never been stopped He's a former title challenger He's a former title challenger He's a former title challenger He's a former title challenger He's a former title challenger i heard u the ****ing 1st time Brook is good but hes no ppv superstar sky want him to be
Pathetic mate. Sky treat the punters like absolute ****ing mugs. They have insulted our intelligence over and over again throughout the years. Smith is still singing Brook's praises on twitter. That was an ordinary performance last night- the pole was utter shite and Brook wasn't exciting either. They appear to have the refs and judges amd refs in their pockets as well. It is no wonder boxing is a minority sport these days- football pundits usually call it how they see it on sky. They don't bullsht you into pretending games are good when they are crap or that players are better than they are- nobody would stand for it. But Sky bank on the fact that the majority of boxing viewers are ileducated in the sport as very few media outlets cover boxing. They therefore try to control what the public are exposed to and any fight which they don't have righst to is ignored as if it isn't happening.
Well that's just wrong. The overhyping of certain football players and matches is just as cringeworthy. Super doopa mega grand slam Sunday anyone?
last night was especially bad they plugging Brook as an elite level fighter. who are they trying to kid? That opponent last night was shot and couldn't pull the trigger and to top it off ****ing garbage. the likes of Berto would maul Brook so would Ortiz and I'm not even going to mention the two upper echelon fighters of the division.
The premiership is the best league in the world in my opinion. Some of the best layers in the world play in the premiership and premiership clubs do pretty well in European competeition- where opponents aren't hand picked and refs aint influenced.
Spot on,watched the fight with a friend who's only starting to get into boxing, even he was saying the Pole was ****,Brook looked average and the stoppage was awful,Adam Smith was terrible last night, going on like it was the best performance of the last ten years..
After being a fan for nearly 20 years I'm starting to really fall out with skys boxing team. They are the most biased set of cringeworthy simpletons iv ever heard. It's reaching a point where I can no tolerate them. The commentary and punditry has become a joke. Your better off turning the sound off. Regarding the brook fight let's not talk ****. The guy was a polish pastry absolutely terrible. The sucking off Adam smith did yet again was moronic and embarrassing. As for brooks world title shot don't be fooled. He is going to fight another pastry or two before he evenetually fights this senchenko chump. All probably in a sheffield leisure centre zzzzz then if he wins the WBA belt he will defend it about 3 times against a few more euro bums. So don't think brooks career is gunna get interesting anytime soon because it's not. I like Brook but that was boring and the opponent was utter dog****. Sky need to shut the **** up.
After breaking with Khan, Sky are so desperate to build someone on PPV and build someone to beat Khan. It's personal with Khan, I think Team Khan pissed off the producer.
Neither could I. In fact I made a whole thread about it! I can't stand any of them. Smith nelson mcrory, mcguigan, rawling, that senile old boring **** who presents these days...i can no longer listen to them. They talk utter shite. They think we don't know boxing. The only ones with any credibility left with me are Jim watt and Jamie Moore
McGuigan's fine. But the others are painful, excepting Moore and Watt (and even he has his moments). They need younger pundits instead of a bunch of old dudes - and not Khan or his ilk.
