Pac and May have two more years in them maximum IMO. After that theres no reason why Brook cant be amongst the elite in the division. after that you have.... Bradley who is a tiny Welterweight. Ortiz has good offence but terrible defence. Berto...avoid the power shots and you have a great chance. Khan...chin is still dodgy but very good fighter. Jones just isn't very good.
Well let's reserve judgement till we see him in with one of them guys. Yeah, and Brook is the whole package, right?
haha...fair one mate, im not a picky twat for spelling etc but i hate the way yanks spell words that just are not spelt that way!:good
Brook is a solid prospect, but let's not start overrating the kid, because it'll only call for backlash if he ever loses or looks bad against mediocre opposition. Happened with Khan and happens with many other fighters.
Understood. But i'm judging him (i know i shouldn't as he's still rising up) on the peformance against Jennings. It's ok looking good last night against a guy who doesn't move very well and doesn't throw back, but against Jennings, somebody who actually moved in other directions than "backwards" and "forwards" he looked puzzled and didn't look very good at all. Now if he doesn't look that good, and puzzled at time's against Jennings, how on earth is he gonna' look against current World class operators?
I thought he was winning fairly easily vs Jennings who came to survive imo as i said for me the jury is still out he could be world class i did laugh at how overboard Sky were last night though
When did i say Brook was the whole package? Far from it but he is clearly improving with every fight. We havn't seen him take shots from a big puncher yet. There are still question marks over Kell, but he is very very talented. Nobody apart from Floyd and Pac have "The whole package" at 147 :deal We all know deep down you are hoping and praying to Allah that Brook gets beat, he's one of the best talents we have in Britain so why can't you just get behind him (no manilow) :good
The reason I "harp" on about it is that it DOES matter. Imagine if you bought Boxing News every week and it was littered with spelling mistakes, etc. You'd stop buying it soon enough. It's all about credibility. If you write like a mong people will think you're a mong. It's just my view. Anyone who says it doesn't matter is lying to themselves.
I thought Brook was winning but he did look puzzled at time's and wasn't half as impressive as he is against the usual people he's in with. Haha their commentary was crazy
Well they pretty much are, but yeah i know what you mean Sky seem to repeat themselves over and over.
