    I found this nugget on youtube. Enjoy! Though Jefferies was older than dirt, if you look at Johnson's style I would say that he was clearly in a class to himself at the time!

    He was old and tired. Perhaps a Jefferies 6 years earlier would have out-muscled Johnson.

    Perhaps, perhaps not. Strength is one factor that does not necessarily lessen with age.

    Jeffries had his last defence in August 1904 ,but he did not officially retire until 1905.
    He was 35 when he faced Johnson ,not 37.

    Johnson was probably the best clincher in history, he could do so much to you once he had you clinched.
