Is anybody brave enough to admit they are still an Antonio Margarito fan?

They both allow a boxer to hit harder basicly so I don't know which would be worse.

I think it is a lot easier to get away with peds then loaded gloves though. It would take a lot of smoke and mirrors to pull off thats for sure.

I worked in the fiberglass industry for years and I think that some sort of epoxy or resin is the way to go not plaster. Plaster is just going to cut a boxers hands to ribbons because its so brittle. Even then you would need some sort of woven fiberglass hand wraps. Anything else will just break and do more harm to the boxers hands then anything else.

But how could someone get away with it when someone is watching? Considering the person sent to check the wraps is someone the boxer trusts I think it would be imposible.

Margarito and his team panicked because they somehow knew they could not compete with Mosley that night imo.

 

Things get routine and people just dont do things thoroughly. Ask Cotto is he thinks Margarito was cheating when they first fought.

People try to rationalize something that is the WORST thing you can do in the SPORT. Why would that be the first time he did it? Watch the guy fight nothing special about him at all but loading up gloves

 

The guy is getting paid to check and make sure the hand wraps are legit. And its his responsiblility to make sure the hand wraps are proper. No doubt they check them thoroughly. What else is the hand wrap checker going to do? Pick his nose?

 

You do realize that Boxing is probably the grimiest business out there right?

About the hardest person to manipulate is someone in the boxers corner. A ped tester could be paid off though, thats why the sport will never be clean.

 

Was never really a fan but i like watching him fight

Margarito is lacking his confident right now because he can't load his gloves to beat his opponents anymore.

 

They hate him because he doesn't belong in his 'W' column and he's still accused of ducking him until now.
What's worse is that Margarito's now in the 'W' column to someone they really hate most today.:-(
