    The MGM Grand was not sold out for the fight. There were about 9000 seats that were reported as “paid,” although many of those are comps given to casino players that were taxed by the Nevada commission. That is a disappointing turnout for someone who is supposed to be a “game-changer” when it comes to the business of boxing

    If they are truly very disappointing, that weakens Mayweather’s position in relation to any fight or in the future, with Manny Pacquiao.

    Could it be that the numbers are so bad that they can’t even “spin” it?

    wait so if the casino bought the tickets then they were paid for right?
    its only been a few weeks what about Manny vs Mosley where are those PPV numbers?

    i guess they were trying to lower it down so Floyd wont get so excited and fight again.

    I hope it's major failure. If he continues to delay the Pac fight and pounce on easy paydays, then I hope he gets little for them.

    The fight did 300K I heard. Mayweather has no skill none.

    Anyone know what the Pacquiao Mosley numbers were ? They never released those. Did it flop?

    Pac vs Mosley did 2.5 million. Arum said on his twitter. Pac's a beast.

    anyways it wont matter how bad the ortiz fight sold, mayweathers next fight is going to be huge, the guy is infamous now. everyone knows his name.
