Probably some private investor/oligarch. Moscow has more Billionairs than any other city on the planet.

I'd definitely watch this fight if it goes off and hope it does. The only fight in Moscow most Americans have seen (myself included) is Rocky IV.

This would also make an incredible 24/7 with lots of cool buildings and views in the background. It would be somewhat cultural/educational if they did it right.

    Crap.

Germany, Atlantic City, or Vegas. Preferably Vegas. Nobody in their right mind would take that fight in Moscow. Nobody.

Martinez has been robbed 2x on HBO in America, Lara just was vs Williams, Kotelnyk vs Alexander, etc, etc. So even Germany on it's worst night is no worse than America. That said, we're talkng about Russia. Name me a robbery in Russia....

24/7? :patsch  If Sergio fights in Russia don't expect this fight to be viewed on HBO. And the only way Sergio Martinez could win in Russia is by a KO which I think won't happen. The "investors" won't want to take Sergio Martinez to Russia only to see him win, so incase of a UD it will go to Pirog.

Martinez's advisor on twitter claims it's not a more lucrative offer than what he's currently making:

record purse offers always fly in when a feared guy no one would fight, now all the sudden looked human...when tyson lost to douglas "the blue print: of standing up to him is all you had to do...i guess, the first 38-0 he all beat, none stood up? they all stood up too and that way he took them out..and quick...

If he fights PBF Im sure he gets at least 5 so i dont thin Pirog can match that.

We don't know the exact amount being offered? I'm guessing ~$3mill. Considering it's in Moscow, which among other things would effect HBO's airtime, I don't see this offer getting accepted. Sergio is waiting til atleast December (see if Khan gets by Peterson for Floyd, see if Margarito beats Cotto, maybe bait winner of Angulo/Kirkland).

If Sergio can get near about $2mill for one of those fights, he'll survive for another $2mill payday after that. He goes to Russia now for $3mill, it all ends. Pirog would be better off focusing his efforts at getting a fight on St Patrick's day in NY vs Lee or Macklin.
