:bloodno comparison. those guys did way less talking and way more actual fighting...not to mention much more fighting with purpose when the golden opportunity presented itself

david is much different than those guys you mentioned...they came and went quick because they didnt talk **** for 4 years, begging for a fight when the chamoion at the time had no idea who he was... i dont remember any of those guys being cocks at the negotiation table...demanding everything while showing nothing but mouth. wlad was the youngest heavyeight he fought....40 like vitali is a number...40 and shot and suck like Audley is sad... yeah those fights you mentioned were average (except spinks and holmes) and wont be remembered, but they were never promised as decade changing events and they werent paid 15 million dollars to stink out the joints...they were getting 250,000 and less....and back then, they dissapeared because they didnt reward people for beating up bums by making "good business moves" fighting guys they dug up like john ruiz, who somehow they justify because he was a mandatory...a mandatory that had 3 wins in 5 or 6 years...its amazing

I said it all these years since he first mouthed off, he would never fight Vitali, now Wlad has a fight arranged he knows he wont get rematch so backs out, Vitali would annhilate him.

History won't remember Haye, and neither should we.

    Forget him.

It honestly sounds more like he quit cause he couldn't get his way and land the big fight with Vitali on terms that he liked. Not that he deserved his terms, just saying.

TIME WILL JUDGE HIM without the current HAYE-haters talking about talking heads.

Now let us take ROBERTO DURAN, and judge him on only two
fights - the low-blow controversial victory overKEN BUCHANAN and
the "NO MAS" quitting job against LEONARD. With that profile, he could be
on the top ten worst champion list. But, that is not reality as to the real
    Duran.
