Does anyone know who holds the best amature boxing record and if so what is it? I've heard rumours that vasyl lomachenko is 300-1 :O .
And out of curiousity what is considered a "good" record at amature level?

Some claim that Sugar Ray Robinson was 85-0 with 69KOs. I've heard various reports on Muhammad Ali's record, generally around 100-5. Just two famous pro examples, the records might not be totally accurate though. 300-1 from Lomachenko would surprise me but the guy is a serious talent and definitely my favourite amateur boxer. He's just fantastic.

Guillermo Rigondeaux has had around 400 fights with 12 losses. More impressive when you look at what he achieved as an amateur.

    Ray Leonard 145–5.

James Toney won 29 of his 31 amateur wins by KO.
