Plus wonder why Harrison dont want Scott sparring Ricky is it because there is talk of maybe a fight with him.

Willy is a great technical boxer but not the hardest puncher. And as the Calton kid said don't think Scott H will be ready for anything as heavy as that yet, week out of jail and cannon fodder for someone elses big fight, wouldnt make him feel good.

Very true, none of them have power.

 

I dont think these are ideal partners but we dont know who else they had gone for and whether they were available or not. Its very hard to get the exact sparring partners you desire.

At least Byrne won't let off the gas. Although Theo isn't the biggest of hitters... he has talent. Hasn't he aslo been as high as LMW also? That extra weight should do Burns good.

Not bad choices IMO, it isn't like they had a horde of options. Murray would have been ideal but declined - obviously Nelson is trying to replicate Katsidis the best he can with the options given.

 

Did not no this was a spelling comp, I would advise those who say dean Byrne is feather fisted obviously have not been on d end of 1 of his left hooks

I never said Byrne was 'feather-fisted' if that was aimed at me. I mentioned that Theo isn't the hardest of hitters though.
