I like Kell and being British myself i hope he goes all the way but i really don't know how he will fair against the elite at 147. If you listen to the British commentators when he fights then you would think he is the second coming of Sugar Ray Robinson but when i watch him i don't quite see it. He gets hit to often by silly shots, his speed isn't world class, especially when you compare it to other 147 fighters like Pac, PBF, Berto, Jones, his power whilst decent at Euro level may not hold up at world level and his work rate can be quite pedestrian at times. His chin and mental toughness are queston marks as well as they have not really been tested yet. He does throw shots at odd angles though and can pick his punchers nicely and put together some decent combos and i imagine his style could be awkward for many fighters but at the minute it is to early for me to tell how good he will become.
Has Brook had any stamina issues? He's not the tallest of welters at 5'9 and looks like he does a fair bit weight-lifting.
Amir Khan? The guy who's been knocked down 4 times? The guy who's been knocked out cold once? That Amir Khan? Khan ain't even on Brook's level. This content is protected
He is bigger than most the Welterweights. Mayweather Berto Pac Ortiz about the same size He is as big if not bigger than most the top ten?
I think apart from the obvious two, Brook is ready for anyone at 147lbs. I do worry a little about his defence but I would take him to beat Berto, Ortiz, Bradley, Alexander etc. Khan with his speed would be interesting but would still make it a 50/50 fight.
lol i thought this was a boxing forum, brook is b+ at best. he will never be elite-if you guys actually think brook would beat khan then i may have to try start a profile at the other site... im not a fan of khan either
