The thing is that everyone listed except Kapitonenko is 22 and younger. They could all stay amateur until after the 2016 games and still turn pro between ages 24-26 which is still young for a HW. Hopefully 3 or 4 will after 2012.

I'm hoping Bogdan Dinu will get signed by a Montreal promoter, or someone, so he can get fights and get his career on track. He could be 1st level talent imo.

Abdulsalamov has got into shape is weighing around 235 and looks like a monster. They need to get him a fight vs Arreola so Chris's fanboys can see what a real power puncher and HW destroyer is supposed to look like.

World Series of Boxing. Tony Yoka and Medzhidov who just won Gold at the World Championships also fought there. Some of those fights are on Youtube.

First I've seen of Abdusalamov but at his 10th fight, Glasgkov has fought far stiffer competition. Seems the young hungry Euro HW's are straight up gunning for ameriCAN names on their resumes since Potvetkin for got to Byrd back in like 05.

Hell, Glasgkov is looking right past Peter in fact(could be to his detriment IMHO) and is fighting only 2 weeks later as well.

As for Fury, he fights often and he improves. That is better than most of the guys in this division who want to fight twice a year against bums and matriculate into an undeserved shot. He'll get somehwere. Not saying he is going to be great, but he is going to beat a lot of these guys over the finish line just based on the fact that he shows up.

As for Peter-Glaskov, i could be worng. Box rec has it as singed. It really hope it comes off. Our boy cancelled five fight this years.

Fury has the glassiest of jaws. One of the SHWs that even the featherfists, like Johnson, will trouble.

He was literally saved by the ref in his firtha fight, and that don't speak well for him. It wasn't a gassing situation like Wlad trying to KO the unstoppable Purrity.....Fury was boxing nicely, using his tools efficiently, but just couldn't take a hard shot. Like the K2, and other superheavies, he's an accumulation puncher, so he's gonna go some rounds to get his wins or KOs. Once the hometown, promoter paid ref's, doc's, and judges are gone, and he fights a name of equal importance, with equal promotion, he'll be brutally KOd.

IMO.....he a one trick pony, relying strictly on his size, but his chin is so weak that an explosive puncher will get him.....mark my words.

Amir Monsour comes to mind, and if he can find a way to get onboard with DK and make a title run, Fury may be the fight that propels him into the ring with a K2.
