Vitali and Haye Still In Talks, Fight Could Happen Early 2012

Haye doesnt deserve it, I know vitali wants to give him a beating but its better to let haye fade away into obscurity.

 

I really want to see this fight happen , but Faye doesn't deserve it.

 

Let's hope so, or else Vitali vs Dimitrenko will be on the cards.

Haye may retire, but I don't buy that it is his plan to stay that way should he be able to land the Vitali fight, its all part of building story/hype for the fight. No way he turns down one last huge payday. This is all just baloney to get the buzz train rollin'.

 

I suppose you could let him 'fade' into obscurity. But I'm sure Vitali would prefer to knock him out into it, instead.

 

How come now that Haye retires there is a rumor at the same time of a possible fight in 2012 with Vitali??? Haye you are a strange dude...

 

I wouldn't call his last HAYEDAY his last payday.

A fight with Vitali in March, would force Vitali to push his Stiverne mandatory up to late this year......Perhaps on the UC of the Wlad/ Mormeck fight:happy:happy:happy Wow.......what a night for HW fans as 4 of the top 25 get it on.

This of course, assuming Stiverne does not become jesus or dajjal before fighttime, would set up the Mar meeting with Haye in grand fashion.

Wlad could also fight Chamber/ Thomspon on that card, and really bring about excitement for a Wlad/Haye 2 fight for next July.

Of course Im dreaming about the K2 fighting on the same card, but aside from Banks almost luring Oquendo on 2 weeks notice, their UC's are ususally ****/poor even when Ustinov and Banks are on them. They seem to always find the least challengers who will accept their terms.

Maybe not his last payday, but I think we all should know Wlad wasn't his last payday either. This is buzz, and its working, threads all over about it and stories on the net. Give Haye credit for being able to stir **** up. It works and his fans will buy right back into him being able to stop Vitali, which I personally think is not going to happen, but I do think the fight will.

 

Boente's account of Booth's reasoning is pretty funny. Haye retires whether or not he's going to fight again. He can retire while negotiating his next fight.

Retirement seems to be more publicity stunt than press release, but I guess that's not uncommon in boxing.
