Pretty much how I see it,Hook. If Tyson does n't get the job done in four rounds,Frazier barbecues him.

Tyson can still catch Frazier somewhere in the process of that middle to inside getting range. I do think Tyson is capable of side-stepping Frazier the way he KOed Mathis, though. He probably won't need to if he tags Frazier somewhere along the way in, though.

    Tyson beats Frazier all day.

Foreman Hook mentioned Frazier fighting on the back foot against Foreman 2
Wow, he lasted 3 rounds longer than before.

Tyson never took a backwards step in any of his fights (unless he was pushed back, which was quite easy to do)

Tyson is better than Frazier IMO

Quite easy to do? Only by bigger stronger men like Ruddock, Douglas, Lewis, or Holyfield who had immense functional p4p strength.

Frazier was like 16lbs of solid muscle smaller than Tyson And even easier to push back.

    Their best prime weight

    Frazier 205 1/2 vs. Ali

    Tyson 215 vs. Holmes

More like 10 lbs, not that huge of an advantage for Mike especially given their similiar stature.

    That's just your opinion.

If i had to pick Tyson's absolute best performances from his Peak ('86 Ribalta to '88 Spinks), i would choose '86 Berbick & '87 Tucker, both of which he weighed 221lbs. Considering both Tyson & Frazier are within an inch in height, that is a surprisingly big difference in weight.

Tyson hovered in the 215-220 range at his best. This wouldnt be a pushing contest anyway, it would be a punching contest and Tyson punches harder and faster than Frazier and can operate both in range and close.

Plus Tyson can take big punches better too. :good

I love Frazier, but there is a reason his management didn't like him fighting powerful punchers...

-And if we are using that guage, Fraizer has been in great shape as high as 215 himself (Manila comes to mind). Again, not a huge size difference.

-Frazier could very well make it into a pushing contest. That was a part of his game.

    Than...

    Joe 205-215

    Tyson 215-221

oooooo big size difference. Why didn't you make this post for the guy who stated Tyson would have 16 lbs of muscle...oooh, that favors your argument. Please, I at least tried to be objective, they were both lean and looked magificent against Ali I and Holmes. 10 lbs at Heavyweight isn't **** to be frank.

And you would be crazy to pick Tucker as Tyson's best performance. :patsch

Why not? Tyson out jabbed him down the stretch and showed he can control a much taller fighter with power and mobility over the distance. IMO it wasn't Tyson's best performance but he showed another dimension to his game.
