Kessler fought Calzaghe with a broken hand... But it all comes down to the kind of fracture.

The hand was injured alright and was surgically repaired afterwards.

That wasn't BEFORE the fight. According to Haye it occured in the 2nd round, only I can't image when it should have been (he landed nothing significant that round on body or arms).

Oh, I see. Sounds weird then yes. That fight was pretty much lackluster as I recall it (Which could have been explained had he broken it before the fight)

A guy I play soccer with once broke his hand in one of our matches. No one know how though.

Sadly, I think Ward will pull the win out.....And knowing how he's been ducking Bute since the Bika fight, I HIGHLY doubt Bute will get the winner of the S6.

More likely he'll get a heartbroken Froch, and beat him IMHO.

Ward of course will rematch Kessler one day, outpoint him, but perhaps Steiglitz, who can fight dirty when he wants to, can find a way to out butt Ward, and get a TD over him, especially since Ward gives up early rounds more often than not.

Are you being ironic? If so your post is kind of funny.
If not, then your way off in so many ways!

a broken finger means that Kessler can´t use his hands for at least 3-4 weeks,So hopefully the fight can be made in about 3 months. What a damn shame!!!
I really feel sad for Kessler, with all his injuries.Montoya (Kesslers trainer) said recently that Kessler was in the best shape ever...What a fuc¤¤¤¤ shame!!!

Have you ever heard Montoya er Kessler before a fight saying otherwise?

I would not read to much into that kind of information :p

I'm not being IRONIC, Im being objective.

Bute has wanted Ward since before the s6 began. He declined invitation to the S6 for the exact reasons we see before us today. Forch and Ward have literally lost 2.5 yrs of their careers, while they could have just made the final fight the day before the s6 began.:-(

But that's not how it works in tournaments. Yeah, big fights are mandated within the tournament, but injuries, withdrawals, and BS drag the tournaments out.

Bute Ward, Froch Bute, Abraham Bute couldv'e already happened if the tournament hadnt gone down. Even Dirrel Bute, and Bute wouldn't have cheated Dirrel like Abraham "accidentally" did.

Bute has literally lost 4 big fights due to this tournament, and it irks me personally, while Ward can sit back, relax, knowing it's 2.5 yrs more of avoiding Lucian Bute.
