First Lewis, now Haye. What is it with british heavyweights? Why do they always choose to retire instead of facing Vitali? :huh

Haye does want to face Vitali, and wanted a rematch with Wlad. Not sure what do you mean mate.

So that's why Haye decided to turn in his boxing license? To challenge Vitali in unlicensed boxing match?

Nah, although in a way it was Hayefaker living out his childhood dream:

To get bent over in front of millions of people.

Lewis retired at 38, knowing that he was the lesser hungry, lesser skilled man. Haye's retirement has more to do with his wanting to build interest in this fight soas he can get a FAIR 35% of the fight revenue.

    Haye is ANYTHING but retired.

Rahman was nothing then. What did Rahman do in that 4 years? Beat a semi-shot Barrett, got a draw against fatass Toney and got KTFO'd by an old Maskaev. He was certainly to be feared :rofl He couldn't even hold on to his paper title.

Vitali provided proof of injuries/surgergies and gave up his belt voluntarily. Those injuries were the only hope Rahman would ever have at beating Vitali
