Kevs only a small lad in reality, if i was a mugger and i went to mug someone and they pulled a knife out, well i would leg it.
granted mate, some lovely places darrrn saafffth but the east end is pretty tasty imo......i was digging in Harlesden a few years back with work, ok its north london, but that place scared the shite out of me.....the phonebox directly outside my digs a week before i moved in there was two lads shot dead in the phonebox!!
I once raided a warehouse with 15 colleagues (I was law enforcement), we had stab vests and were none of us small blokes - there were seven staff inside, they picked up scaffold poles and went for us. So while it is to your credit that you would leg it if someone pulled a knife, there are many criminal who won't. So the production of a knife just tends to up the ante all round, and noone wants that. Yes, fair point, it can get a little wild west out there, sometimes, but as long as you know where to tread it's no worse than lots of places these days, imho. Someone got knifed in Cheltenham last week!!
all good points mate......as a boxer surely a knuckleduster would be more my tool of choice if i was worried about getting done over, and more so about the penalty for carrying a knuckleduster over a blade.
Quite right. Judges throw the book at you if you use it, so it would have been career over for him anyway, so it was a decision without upside. As the most recent poster said, 'tool'. I find myself unable to disagree.
I HATE ****s who carry knives, especially a ****ing pro boxer who should be able to look after himself should any **** start, knives kill people FAR too easily.
