ironic that when floyd retired in 2008, most floyd fans here in ESB were gone and only the old timers like pimp c, toopreety, and some others were left. when floyd came back, there was an influx of new accounts that dig floyd.

Popular fighters will always bring a lot of casual fans to the table, and there will always be a lot of nuthuggers when it comes to casual fans, so for sure, once Pac leaves there will be a lot of casual fans of Pac that won't follow boxing anymore.

The hope is that whenever a popular fighter enters the scene, a lot of casual fans of that fighter end up appreciating the sweet science more and end up staying as fans even after the fighter that got them into the sport retires.

I'm sure a lot of us started that way and to ridicule the fans of a fighter just because a lot of them will leave the sport after that fighter retires is hypocritical and shortsighted. We should really just be thankful that we still have superstars in boxing, because it rejuvenates the sport as a whole and that's a good thing no matter how you view it.

    The board will improve greatly.

99% of them will disappear. Most of Pac's fans are only his fans because they THINK he can beat Mayweather. When Mayweather spanks him? Then we will see who his fans really are.

95 percent of them will be gone and it'll be great times on boxing forums everywhere.

Most Mayweather fans contribute to more than just May vs Pac threads and have knowledge of the history and current landscape of the sport outside their favorite fighters. Whereas most pac fans only post about how great pac is and how terrible Mayweather is and when it comes to anything else boxing related they're clueless. The Tards consist of 95 percent newbies who tuned in at Pac vs DLH or a few fights before. There's a small percentage of *******s that know their **** but most are just trolls

Im sure someone else will come to fruition in time for Pacquaio and Mayweathers retirements to take all their ******ed fans under their wing. I'm sure theres plenty or decent knowledgeable fans for both but they just get overclouded by the nugghuggers
