Aldo easy. When you pressure cruz he backs straight up with his chin in the air. Plus when he punches the opposite hand is down at his waist. Any good stiker with experience on the ground aswell will beat cruz. Plus cruz has **** footwork. As soon as someone cuts off the ring and punches into his movement hes getting knocked out. That is **** footwork. Hes just bouncing around off balance. Frankie edgar has good footwork. I dont know what your definition of footwork is but cruz has shitty footwork in my opinion. Frankie edgar moves in and out using feints and is always on balance. Cruz just bounces around off balance. Cruzs days are numbered. Im a hands coach in mma, boxer, and a pro gambler. Cruz movement and wretling troubles all styles, Aldo included. HOWEVER we don't know if Cruz could take the punches, knees and kicks that Aldo can deliver. Its also really hard to take him down. I also think Aldo is currently at his most beatable. He shouldn't be at 145 anymore unless he is continously in camp to keep his weight down. He was breathing heavy against Florian after round 1 and it wasn't a hard round or a hard fight. If another Hominick comes along he could be in trouble. Cruz moving up with his tenacity and endurance could cause trouble if Aldo can't put him away.
Hell the guy who Aldo beat the **** out of knocked Cruz down twice, if that was Aldo he would have stopped him both times. Backing up with your hands down is a bad idea. Aldo by KO.
