Derek replaced Brad, but is not always available as he breed/trains Greyhounds, which he races in Ipswich & Albion Park

    In no particular order

    Milham
    Austin
    Vocale
    Dean
    Ingraham
    Lucas

Thats my thoughts. Id also ad Tapley from QLD is a good up and coming Ref, Also Mark Simpson from here in Perth is a pretty decent ref.

Ive probably forgotten a few, I havnt seen enough of the Victorian Refs to really comment on them.

One of the trainers in nsw said the best refs are the ones who goes unnoticed.

    I agree with that.

Yes i agree with that also.
No need for the ref to be continuelly interupting the fight. Unless there are things that need adressing like holding headclashes etc.

Disagree totally. Russell mora did his best to stay unnoticed and let go 36 nut shots in the process when he was the third man for agbeko v mares.

It depends on how a fight unfolds and what the fighters are doing. Some fights need a vocal, officious referee.

Ahh ok, i see what you are saying. I thought by being unnnoticed you meant refs that basically dont do anything. I misunderstood what you meant.
