Hey all, any recommendations where to watch Hopkins Vs Dawson in sydney?? Preferably somewhere with a bit of atmosphere? Ive gone to the casino for a few recent bouts (including Klitschko-Haye :nut) but id rather a pub atmosphere....Same goes for the upcoming Toney-Lebedev fight... Any recommendations sydneysiders?? Out west, club mounties has a great venue for boxing...they now show the fights in the auditorium...full bar and cinema size screen. Im pretty sure they will show this card...im planning to head up there.
There's an interesting story to one of the undercard fights. 52 year old cruiser Dewey Bozella makes his debut against 30 year old Larry Hopkins 0-3 Bozella had been in Sing Sing prison for 26yrs for a crime he didn't commit before being released in 2009. Unbelievable story. If anyone hasnt heard about it or seen it...its all over ESPN's boxing page as he won the ESPY Arthur Ashe Award For Courage this year, otherwise also the vids can be found on youtube.
