Does anyone haVE an experience or has ever heard about boxers being arrogant? last year I was at LA for Nonitos fight against sydorenko and the Soto's brawl with Antillon and I ran into Ariza (Nice dude) and even Donaire after his fight went to say hi to everyone and get some photos with the fans, but when Miguel Cotto got into ringside he didnt say hi to anyone and you could tell he was bothered by the pictures...
I ran into Pacquiao in his hotel the night after the Margarito and he spit in my face and slapped my kid.. *******..
Arrogant fighters....I Love them (no homo) The Cobra, Money May, The Matrix, Jean Pascal, Bhop, Arthur Abraham, Degale & Gamboa.
OH BTW... the nicest person in the whole atmosphere was Ines Sainz who posed with anyone who asked even though she was at ringside reporting
I've never met any professional boxers or people involved in boxing. But I've heard the following from friends and people on here: JMM - A real gent, that always makes time for fans wanting pics/autographs. Mayweather - The same as JMM (not a gent, but will always sign for fans) Khan - Nice and welcoming, but a bit dim. Fernando Vargas - Racist ****. Rios - May appear like a ***** on videos, but apparently really cool in person. Calzaghe - Arrogant. Malignaggi - Approachable and likes to talk. That's all I could think of at the moment. And in regards to Cotto, he's not arrogant. He's just a quiet, reserved person. He has never liked all the cameras and attention, and outside of his media obligations, he prefers to keep himself to his family and friends. People mistake that for rudeness and arrogance, but really, he's behaving no different to how most of us would, in his shoes. Oh, and I heard Morales is quite bad. And there's Maidana, who's in a pretty funny video with Elie Seckbach . If someone could find it, post it. I'm trying to look for it. I think it was just before the Khan fight: Maidana is wandering around and Elie calls him over to ask a few questions. Maidana happily obliges and begins heading towards him, and then his trainer, Diaz, comes rushing over, telling Elie to **** off and leave his fighter alone :rofl. He takes Maidana away and Maidana's looking back over his shoulder at Elie like "Sorry man :conf". And Zab Judah's standing there on his own, like a random nobody/fan, with a milkshake in his hand laughing at what just happened. Edit: Here it is. Props to Vidic for finding it: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dclR1AJ4WzQ[/ame]
Oh yeah about that youre right man...but I guess that combined with his skills plays a role in the fight
