Who ranks higher for you, Ken Buchanan or Wilfred Benitez?

    What difference does that make William my good man? I think Winky Wright should rank well higher than Joseph Calzaghe when it comes to ATG rankings, but I'm well aware I'd lose a landslide poll to that effect in our dear old General Forum.

    But I was just voting Buchanan to avoid a 20/30/40-0 whitewash if I'm being honest. I love Ken, and I felt bad I'd put him in this position.

    Ken is underrated, should have been a 2 time champion and his resume is good and I'd guess could potentially better if not for the drink (you could say the same about Benitez and coke)

    Benitez has the better win (Duran - even if it is at 154), and that win is a masterclass on how to neutralise an offensive fighter and the Palomino win for me is very underrated and ranks on par with the Laguana wins, the Cervantes win I don't rate as highly as some but it's very good. Ortiz for Kenny was probably well past it but maybe Ken just had the style to neutralise him??? The Curry fights are underrated wins for Benitez. I don't know exactly how good the Maurice Hope win is but Hope did beat Anterfermo 3 years before Anterfermo became MW champ

    Skill and ability wise I'd go with Benitez, I just think he's that bit better. Plus he's a 3weight champion and lineal at 140 and 147
