Tarver vs Jones 1 Scorecard

    Just watched it for the first time since watching it live 8-9yrs ago. Here is my scorecard.

    Rd 1:10-9 Jones
    Lederman and announcers gave it to Tarver because of the 2 flurries, but to me Jones controlled most of the rd, landed quality body shots and a couple right hooks. To me Jones was more effective in the majority of the rd then Tarver was

    Rd:7 10-9 Tarver
    Rd:8 10-9 Tarver

    Rd:11 10-9 Jones
    Rd:12 10-9 Jones

    8-4 RJJ - Seemed a lot closer watching it live. What do you guys have?

    I don't have my RBR but I remember having it 115-113 for Jones.

    this was a close fight Jones came through at the end like a champ the only time I had seen him struggle and pull it out like that

    I remember it being close but not a robbery as some have claimed.

    I remember it having something like 8-4 or 7-5 at least, for Jones.

    I don't consider it a robbery at all. He just looked more vulnerable over 12 than we had ever seen him.

    7-5 Jones. He wanted it more.

    There are just way too many rounds where Tarver did absolute jack.

    I was close to having one of the rds a tie(forgot which one) but they did something to steal it towards the tail end.

    I always thought the way I read things, that Tarver was Robbed but everyone says Jones won, so really he could of got away without rematching him then?

    I think no one had ever seen Jones in a close fight before, so Tarver got more credit than he deserved. Well, at least until the 2nd fight. I remember being shocked that Rj didn't dominate him.

    8 rounds to 4 Jones. Roy started bringing it in the 3rd and did enough to win.
