last week i re-watched the first fight and posted on here that i though pacquaio won by 115-111 although the round scoring was very close......6-5-1 in favor of pacquaio , the knockdowns gave him the extra 3 points.

last night i watched the 2nd fight and scored it a draw 114-114 but had marquez winning on rounds 6-5-1 , again the knockdown is what pacquiao got the extra point for.

looking at the 3rd fight i think the fight will be just as good as the others and probably just be as close. Pacquaio has got better there is no doubt , the extra weight has suited him and his punch power is better.

Marquez though has remained an elite top 5 fighter who has NOT faded in any way.

In this fight i think that the extra 4 years since thier 2nd fight will suit pacquaio better , marquez is 38 but still going strong although how much has he left after being in a tough battle with the slower katsidis who managed to floor him. Pacquaio never looked at his best vs mosley so it will be interesting to see if hes going backwards??.

Marquez was the fighter who improved from the first fight , he adapted better and many thought he won the fight clearly but as mentioned before pacquaio has got better where marquez has stayed at a high level or basically the same. Will marquez again improve in this 3rd fight and finally get the win??? its highly possible because the 2 fights were close.

My gut feeling is that pacquaio will win again because he is better now and the weight is a big advantage , i expect him to knock down marquez 1 or 2 times on the way to a bigger points win eg: 8 rounds to 4 + the extra knockdown points.

I wouldnt be suprised if pacquaio stops marquez early as that is when marquez has been knocked down 4 times by manny in the first 2 fights...could it go like pacquiao vs morales 3????

It will be a great fight by 2 elite fighters - may the best man win

shouldnt your first scorecard be 115-113 pac (6-5-1 min the kd)?

styles make fights mate and marquez certainly has teh style and skills to beat pacquaio , 2 close fights prove that

6 -5--1 pacquaio but pacquaio knocked marquez down 3 times in teh first so hes get the round 10-6 , without the knocdows pacquaio would have won by 115-114 on my card

Pac tko, marquez gets hit more than he used to and pac carries the weight better than marquez, I think he stops him around round 5 but marquez is great and im definitely not counting him out, especially if pac looks like he did vs mosley again.

its sounds crazy going for an early knockout for pacquaio when the fights were that close but when you think he has knocked marquez down 4 times very early in the fight then its a really a possibility.

ive saw that list before , i watched the HBO screening of the fight and what got me was the lastround that marquez won clearly , merchant scored it even which made his card a draw and ledderman gave it to pacquaio which made him a 3 point winner on his card

Anyone who gave Pac 6 rounds for the first fight loses all credibility.

Marquez will get steamrolled. Not sure how anyone can see Pac winning the 1st fight on a round by round basis. I think he could've tied Marquez at best, though (6-6). I recently scored the first fight, too. The 8th and 9th were somewhat close rounds, especially the 9th. I had that a 10-10 round, but upon another look I score it for Marquez. The first fight I scored 113-112 Pac, but if you score the 9th round a tie it's a 114-112 fight. Close but somewhat clear win for Pac. Marquez definitely won the 2nd fight, though.
