... but is that preference make you a British? You probably don't know this but there are two ways how to count the nationality, the one which is in England and in US is based on your birth place. The other (I guess this is true for Poland) is based on your ancestors so doesn't matter where you have born but who your parents were. You may have the right to be called British since you been born over there but you can't blame other people they feel strong connection to counties of their ancestors ... its different kind of culture and tradition. It is also the private matter of everybody to either be proud of their roots or to call them a shitholes ...

... but you didn't chose to be born in UK, that was your parents who did. That defines your connection more to your parents than to GBritain. If they decide move to North Pole and you were born over there this probably makes you an elf in Santa Claus workshop, right? On your own you just define that you're British just because you like over there and you call your ancestry a shithole ... do you think that a real Brits (the one with traditions cemented to that country) think about you anything else than a brown man from a shithole?
British isn't an ethnicity its a nationality but if you mean white folks never had a problem with them....
I don't wanna mess with you but I'm just curious. Lets assume that someone (doesn't matter if they are Poles, Scottish, Irish, black or Asians from Bangladesh) think about you as more of a brown man from a shithole which just happens by accident to be born in UK so you have right to hold UK passport and drivers license .... (which is true in your own words becuase you didn't chose to be born in UK by yourself ... it just happened and you like it) ... why is that affecting you so much?
