I did not enjoy this fight at all. That was the bad version of Hopkins, and I'm afraid he'll be up to the same tricks this weekend.

Bernard snatched in the late part, end stretch yeah but he had his game plan well thought and mastered by hom and Freddie Roach. Let the bait for Winky to step in and extend too far that right hand, step back and step forward fast to naill him inside with counters, short punches inside and side to side movement to have this wizard puzzled. I want to c how Winky is going to help Chad if he was clueless more and more as the fight developed.

I dont like the dirty tricks but I do want to see him win, if he beats dawson he will become foty for sure, foty in 2001 and in 2011 + oldest man ever to win a title = epic.

As a Dawson fan, I can see the gamesmanship going against him 100%. He has the speed and cautious style to give Bernard all kinds of problems, but I don't know. The trainer dump late in the game always makes me skeptical.

I don't think either fighter did enough to get the win the fight should have been a draw imo.

Well Wink Taylor was a very good and entertaining fight. My memory seems a bit lost, why was it there never was a rematch?? I thought it was Winky who wanted too much money or something. But Taylor took a lot of slack for the Ouma and Spinks fight. Shame it never came off. Probably the last good performance we've seen from both fighters.

on Nard Winky. I watched it only ones, the morning after the fight. From what i recall it was pretty close and tense. Could ve been a decent fight, but the headbuts and all the hugging ruined that. Hopkins deserved the decision i thought, but it wasn't anything near sweet.

    Wink/Taylor. Now THERE'S a fight worth re-watching.

Even if it is a robbery.

I had it 115-114 for Hopkins. Though I had it close, I think Hopkins was the clear winner.

Winky never took the fight. Simple.

He's on record stating he felt the judges would have stolen it from him again anyway, so he chased Hopkins up in weight. (after taking a fight with Quartey)

And yes I think that was dumb.

i remember rooting for wright and thinking he was winning at a certain point but this may have been out of me wanting wright to win but it not actually happening

i will admit he did fight well and seemed to out land Hopkins

if i remember properly he priced himself out big time so Taylor walked

I thought it was close either way kinda fight and Wright shoula just took the money and the winnable title

he moved up than sat out forever and basically ended his career effectively
