Floyd won't even spend a dime to subject his own fighter to the same drug test he's preaching.

Clean up the sport my ass.

Same can be said about Floyd......he could have agreed to what his own promoter, Pac and TR all agreed to and had the fight take place 18 months ago.

Why should he petition them just so NSAC can tell him that they won't test as strictly as he wanted

Why would they(Arum) want to petition the commission for stricter testing when they could have just accepted the testing through contract. It makes no sense to go through the extra step of petitioning the commission if they would easily just form a contract with the extra testing to it which the commission would have no problem allowing.

It would make more sense if they mean't Mayweather petition for his case for it while Pac petition his case against it. But if they are petitioning for the same cause then what it the point of that? Commission would allow them to do that through contract reguardless.

Maybe there is something I'm missing?

I don't think that Mayweather bases his business decisions or media actions against the news, so in regards to Mayweather's next opponent, it's in my opinion, a non-entity.

You have to understand that Floyd is a role-model for many of these prepubescent kiddies, I mean really in all of the USA there must exist more positive African-American role-models than this narcissistic fake wannabe gangsta?

Btw, Mike Tyson did'nt petition the NSAC either when he required Evander Holyfield go additional PED tests.

As Mayweather has done here with Pacquiao, Tyson stipulated it in the fight contract and never involved the NSAC.
Tyson must have known what the NSAC would rule, knowing they had ruled no on Steward's request for Leonard to get tested.

You see tards, you dont need to involve the commision when you want to get something done. You stipulate it on the contract and leave the commison out of it.

Anytime you involve an alphabet group or a boxing commision for anything, there's a history of them screwing things up.:deal

Steward asked the commision, he was denied.

Mike Tyson stipulated it in the contract, Evander Holyfield signed it.

    HELLO!!!:hi:

What I said was true. Because if NSAC forced Pac to do that testing, then he could just fight in Texas and guess where Pac's next 2 fights too place.
Also I remember the NSAC demanding both Floyd and Pac to take a drug test after Pac first turned down the test.
So yes, if Floyd asked, they could test Pacquiao more, but not to the extent that Floyd was asking for

:deal Floyd simply is using the accusations he has created about Pac to fuel the only buffer he has between himself and a fight he obviously does NOT want.....which are HIS fdrug testing requirements...that he helped create and ultimately controls when it comes to his fights.

If Floyd was serious about cleaning up the sport, the best way is to get NSAC to implement stricter testing. Even GBP was in agreement with petitioning NSAC. Why would Floyd be against it?

This would make more sense if they both wanted extra testing but the commission had rules against it and they had to petition the commission to allow the extra testing kind of like what they did with the 8 ounce glove scenario for Cotto-Margarito.

But the commission already allows extra testing through contract reguardless so why is the commission needed?
