Boring? Dirrel looks great when he let his hands go. He has Great Athletic gifts. Ward in other hand is boring with Horrible style.:good I dont know he seems genuinely good guy outside the ring.
Fraudre Dirrell is a China Chinned Hype Job and a Glass Hearted Joke. He has no Mandibular or Testicular Fortitude and he's a **** actor, as well. His best bet is to hope that Dr. Hi will never clear him again, because if he takes any legit fights he's going to have his disgraceful Chin splattered across the ring.
Wasted talent, hes got great speed for a super middle and a decent amount of power and he could have beaten froch had he not flopped around the ring. with the point deduction that was rightly given i scored the fight 115-113 for Froch. Then the Abraham fight came, he came out strong and fast and dropped arthur then as soon as Abraham came back strong and dropped dirrel instead of digging deep he panicked and started slipping all over again and saw his way out. im not denying that the shot he took hurt but he over sold it into something it wasnt. Sadly hes always going to be known for Wasting a title shot against Froch and Faking against Abraham. He could have done a lot more with his career
Explain to me how running, holding, falling to the canvas and refusing to fight "won you over." If Dirrell had one quarter of the guts and heart Froch has he would have won the fight easily.
Can someone explain to me how come Dirrell faked it when he didnt fight since, i tought first few month that he faked it but he did not fight so long, there is no way he faked it, no one would throw away money he could earn even not fighting top class opponents.
What ever,I have no interest in this guy until he does something that captures the imagination, having skill is not enough the guy is a boring negative fighter. No demand for this guy and his total ***** style.
I like the guy both in and out of the ring. At first I thought he beat Froch, but when I watched the fight a second time and didn't have the adrenaline going, I have Froch in a close decision. I loved the way he fought Abraham for the first half of the fight. Moving without running; taking angles; and sitting down on some shots before exiting. Textbook American boxing. I hope he comes back and has a lot of success. On a good night, he could give anyone at 168 a good run.
very talented boxer,IF he have had the balls and chin like Kessler and froch,he would probably be the no.1 SMW at the moment. But he is a scared fighter,in fact i think he is so nervous before a fight (Froch),so he was almost breaking down,when they stood face to face,i think it was during the weigh in... He just dont have the mental strength,that is SO important.
