Mayweather is feather fisted, has an untested chin and is scared to get hit. He also has a low punch output and does not like to engage. He also has trouble against south paws.

Pac is going to come in throw like 1 million punches. Mayweather is to soft to handle that type of barrage. And sure Mayweather will get some hits off but Pac will walk through Mayweather's feather fisted punches and come at him like the terminator and hit him with 10 punch combos all fight and either hurt Mayweather and finish him or win a UD by outworking him and having him in running away survival mode.

The correct answer is "No, if anything, Pac is tailormade for Floyd"

Pac only throws and connects with millions of punches when his opponent is there to be hit. He didn't exactly throw and connect with much when mosley started to move and even when he realised mosley wasn't throwing nothing back at him he couldn't cut the ring off to land his millions of punches. Floyd on the other hand will be even harder to hit than mosley was whilst firing back very accurate punches designed to upset pacs rhythm.

Not saying mayweather wins this hands down like some on here, however, i do believe manny will struggle to get off against floyd therefore will be forced into fighting a fight he is not used to. I really do think mayweather is that good at forcing others to fight in a way that is alien to them and i don't see pac being the monster we are used to in the cagey affair this fight will no doubt be.

Maybe if Floyd's name didn't pop up in the news every day and if he didn't have at least 5 threads about him on the first page of this forum everyday, I could talk more about other boxers

**** I don't even have Floyd in my avatar you ******

I think both guys styles will present the other with problems they have never had before, this (along with every other 100 reasons) is why this fight must be made asap, while both are still at the top of their game.

Pac has the strongest offensive ability in boxing, Floyd the strongest defense.
Pac has more trouble with men who don`t come straight to him & can use movement & counter-punch him, I`d say Floyd has the advantage style wise as well as talent wise but neither can afford to only bring their A game, they must bring their A+ game, if both do that then I think Floyd outpoints him but if he is anything but on his best game then Pacquiao is the wrong guy to be sharing a ring with & will beat him.

On the thread subject, Mayweather is not tailor made for anyone, he is too talented in the art of pure boxing & too versatile for this to be the case IMO.

That applies to most orthodox boxers. Floyd has the right hand that can land perfectly on Pacquiao.
In reality they are completely different in every way.

Floyd jr is a defensive fighter not a counter puncher ala JMM... Pac is a offensive fighter with stamina not even considering their almost equal speed just style. So the pot shot won't be good enough Floyd jr needs to be offensive ala JMM or EM to win not even considering the Pac version at feathers. The only thing would be going for Floyd jr would be his chicken wings & pecking duck or let's just say his "dirty" special moves... Floyd jr is a safety first guy so if he risk fighting Pac on terms that is out of his comfort zone his playing to Pac's favorite scenario. Pac would not be holding back no matter what happens to Floyd jr.

Some good answers here, but neither are tailor made for eachother. They both offer stylistic issues, and to say its an easy fight for either one is nonsense.
