Helenius is no bum :nono His KO's of Brewster, Peter & Liakhovich are great, highlight reel KO's and he's still young & improving. IMO he's the best of the bunch, at least so far anyway. He should lose the love handles but boxing isn't a beauty is it?
He was losing a lot of those fights, though, so there is some doubt. He is a very slow starter, who has managed to get by on power not unlike Wach. In addition, all of the above fighters were already spent to various degree before facing him. Let´s see if he can do as well against a fresh up and comer instead of fighting sloppy seconds (actually sloppy thirds or sloppy fourths would be more accurate). His development has been fine and I´m okay with the attention he´s been getting, considering the alternatives, I´m just not yet sold on him being a future champ or even a title holder. All the same, its always nice to have fresh blood in the division.
At least Helenius has a chin. You spoke of punch resistence, and you're the one sporting an avatar of a man who got kayed by a slow Schilt jab.
Again, I was not the one pointing out whose fights are boring or not, TS did by saying Fury was boring. He's a big time Adamek fan and he's talking about Furys lack of exciting fights.:smoke
Fury would be lucky to have at least one round as exciting as Adamek´s wars against Briggs, Cunningham and Arreola.
Helenius was born in Sweden, but fights out of Finland. And they rarely show his fights here, only his last two or three have been shown.
And yet, their best ever fighter is Sweden born. (And talks Swedish as his first language) Ingemar Johansson > anything Finland has ever produced COMBINED. But then again, I really don't have to lower myself to his level, he's finnish, lets leave it at that. They're called the northern rats for a reason.
You can substitute Finnish in that post and it still applies. Both countries have almost no presence in the sport, so you shouldn´t come here and thrash other nations which are light years ahead in the boxing world. And I should add, these countries were allowed to compete in pro boxing for only the past 2 decades, unlike Finland or Sweden.
atsch 1. I never shat on countries, but polish glass gimps like yourself won't acknowledge truth. I like Proksa, and have liked him for YEARS.. but you won't take notice of that. I also like Adamek, even though I shat on two of his performances here. 2. Come back and talk to me about being "superior" when you have one linear, undisputed champion, let alone an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
