No, no and no. Their resumes are incomparable?? Have you ever heard of Harry Greb? His resume is head and shoulders above Robinson's and Ali's.
You are entitled to your opinion, regardless of how silly it is. Robinson and Ali are clearly both top ten pound for pound choices, yes. Agreed. Robinson is clearly higher than Ali and Ali said it himself. Greb's resume is better than anyone's and I personally rank him #2. Before placing Ali so high, thoroughly research the careers of Harry Greb, Bob Fitzsimmons, Willie Pep, Ezzard Charles, Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran, Joe Gans and Sam Langford. I am not saying that all of those men rank higher, but at least after your research you could HONESTLY say that Ali is # whatever, but as of now, you seem to be speaking soley from passion of Ali.

I would cry tears of joy if I could see ANY fights of Greb. If I could pick just one it would be Tunney-Greb I.

Get "The Fearless Harry Greb" by Bill Paxton and read it, if you haven't already. A great book. Also, one of our very own E.S.B. members is writing another book on Greb. If you don't know him, his screen name is Klompton. He posts a lot in the classic forum.

That is a link to his unfinished project.

are you ****ing kidding me? look at my avatar you ****ing idiot.just out of interest how many fights of greb have YOU seen? you'd think you covered their fights the way you go on.saying grebs resume is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above ali's is quite simply ridiculous

you should take your own advice, its your opinion thats silly and you are clearly the one speaking through bias

you're also a self righteous, arrogant ***** that forces his thoughts down other people's throats

Rocky Balboa technically is with his ability to take full force punches from an iron russian and come back to win the fight. Truly heroic!

No, actually, it isn't. I'll go a few steps further and say Greb's resume is head, shoulders, torso, waist, and **** above Ali's.

I washed my eyes after Bika-Codrington when they would cut to ringside.

    props:good

but really though when its comes to resumes great ones are great ones and ali's is great.even if greb's is better,to say its head and shoulders above ali's is ridiculous and assumptive.can you honestly say you've seen enough of greb's opponents (outside of tunney and walker) to make that case?

You should have did a public poll were others can see who voted for who.

Anyway - Ray Robinson was the best fighter that ever lived... end of topic !

It's interesting that people would say Greb despite having never seen any footage of him fight
