Yeah but there would be no incentive to work your way up to a mandatory shot if you were to get that same money anyway without doing so.

The thing is fighters say no because they get **** all money wise, obviously bigger than most of their pay days but knowing they will be taking 8+ rounds of being beat up they want more than what the klits offer them. That is what i have heard.

Look at Klitschko vs Thompson and think - Helenius is better than Thompson in every area size, strenght, punching variation, speed and amateur backround and probably chin also..

Only edge to Tony is his southpaw

Hmmm.....I'm not so sure about that.

I mean, Helenius did lose rounds to Peter, and several to Liakhovich.
I'm not so sure Thompson would lose those rounds, especially to Liakhovich.

I'd love to see Helenius vs Thompson, with the winner taking on Wlad.

Helenius vs Thompson would be great mandatory fight, but i afraid Thompson will lose his next fight by point's

By the way Helenius is not lose rounds if he fights seriously. Those, what he lose he save his stamina and was not bother at all another attacks

    His chin is exellent

nah, hardly any fighter works too hard to become mandatory anymore. the question is if you're a worthy challenger, (won some fights and shown something or just shown something in this divsion) and if you are u should get around 25-30 percent at least, if ur not worthy, u shouldn't be fighting for a title. if there would be any incentives, team klitchko would have an incentive not to put together crappy title fights where they can pay the guy crappy money

Hrlrnius is getting overrated here. Out hin in with a fast defense fighter and he will get schooled. Chambers would make him look like ****. Why Do you think sauerland is giving hin fights against slow brawlers with a good chin?

Helenius is the 3rd best HW on the planet and will be until the K2 are gone. By then he'll be 25-0, having beaten 5/6 former world titlists, own the WBA regular title and immediately consume the paper belts Wlad scatters after he retires undisputed.

Why should Robbe risk the title of UNDEFEATED, UNDISPUTED, HWCotW, just so he can make a quick mil in his 17th pro fight.

    Why?:huh
When he's 32, he'll be stronger, faster, and most likely have grown fully into his frame, and combined with his offensive prowess and his iron chin, he can pick up where Vitali/Wlad left off without any of the negatives surrounding his career.

He's the best fighter since Wlad before he gassed against Purrity and Vitali before he torn his labrum vs Byrd.

The fight sucks. No one really available. Too bad Wlad doesn't have a mandatory fight to do which are usually a waste of time anyway. Ironic since now he has 3 major belts.
