You should've made the polls public, although I'm pretty sure it's that SouthpawJab guy.

 

Holyfield takes his heart and stops him mid/late. He would press Haye unlike anyone Haye faced causing the latter to fold. He had suspect stamina and didn't like to fight out of his own pace, which was minimal. Can't get away with that against the workman-like Holyfield.

 

Somebody actually thinks Haye beats Holyfield at ****ing CW?!! LMFAO. Brits..

Holy will eat a few blazing fast power punches from Haye and they'll keep him sharp for as long as it lasts. He'll be vastly more durable, vastly more intelligent and have vastly better stamina and output. Haye will be picked apart. Holy won't fight him cautious like Volo and his footspeed is...better than...never mind. I can't break character. Regardless, Holy by a technical knockout in round 6-8. Their quality is obviously going to be in different neighbourhoods, but Haye IS damn fast, has two-fisted pop, and does have good mobility. He may extend it longer. I just feel Holy will get in without taking all that much and pick him apart, around 6-8. :conf

Edit: Wait...if there's a 200-pound limit and we only go off of Haye's showings at CW, I'd be less inclined to say he lasts that long and say probably more Holy TKO 4 or 5.

the only asset haye has over holyfield is power and 1. at crusierweight the power is a lot closer than people think and 2. haye cant hurt holyfield.

holyfield was a complete fighter , i would be suprised to see haye after 8 rounds

I don't know if Haye had faster hands than a young Holy. Not in combination, anyway.

 

I don't personally believe he did. He hit a hell of a lot smarter. I'd agree there, no problem.

Haye's not really enough of a combo guy, when you get past the most simple one-two type deals, that I can think of. Meaning, I'd say he's naturally faster, in single shots, but to me, he's not educated enough in putting proper combinations together to judge him against Holyfield, if that makes any sense. The guy goes a little bat****. When you're judging a fighter with a more educated attack, accurate instincts, versus a wilder, but imo, naturally faster guy, it can be a tough call. We all know Dave's faults, but I'd at least like to give him props for what he does clearly have. Speed and power. When he picks his spot, he's explosive as hell, faults aside.

 

Holy's more explosive and more British. Anything that isn't an outright fault, Holy's more of. Accept it, love it, admit it.
