TOP post, Headbanger. I expect nothing less from such an esb legend and senior Team Elite titan. These fukkin Toney fanboys are getting dumber every year. Most of them were shitting in their nappies during Toney's prime. Fanboys....since when could Jones not do anything Toney could at heavyweight, twice as easily & twice as impressive :rofl. Toney's record at heavyweight; Good stoppage vs an ancient Holyfield Steroid cheating decision vs Ruiz Gift draw vs Rahman Turned down a $1.5m offer to fight Wladimir for the IBF title Disputed loss to Scam Cheater 12 round thrashing from Scam Cheater Steroid cheating decision vs Batchelder Gift decision win vs Oquendo Embarrassing tap out loss to 47 year old Couture under ufc rules Jones' single, easy thrashing of Ruiz is better than anything Toney could hope to do at heavyweight. James Toney was a ****ing over achiever thanks to his gift decision wins, in his prime, when he was in condition. I'd love to hear what other mythical achievements Toney could manage in a parallel fanboy universe. For 20 years Toney has embarrassed the sport & shat on his fans non stop, yet still they worship him like love struck school girls atsch. The dumb **** genuinely believes he's still a heavyweight champion. "I.B.A!" :rofl You could fill a book with ******ed James Toney quotes.
It is a fact that Roy Jones would never fight punchers guys like Peter and Rahman. Jones has one victory against Ruiz. Toney has wins over Holyfield, Oquendo, Guinn, the draw with Rahman. He also had decent performances over Ruiz, Rahman II, and Peter I.
Toney lost the Dave Tiberi fight - it was a horrible decision He won the Sanderline fight and got a very disputed draw, he did fight him again and got a win He was a green contender against Sosa, he had only 15 pro fights. He should of won by a ud instead of a sd Reggie Johnson was an elite fighter - no shame in beating him by sd. His win over Barkley doesnt mean much - but it was a fine display in defense and counterpunching no comment Toney only had 4 fights at smw: Barkley, Thornton, Littles and Jones All of the other fights at that time were keep busy fights at lhw-cw catchweights. His ibf smw was not on the line for those fights.
Toney's career has been too inconsistent. His loss to Jones hurts him, elite ATGs shouldn't be getting schooled like that against similar sized, similar rated PFP counterparts. Granted Prime Roy was one of the very best ever, it still indicates a style weakness, and he also had close fights/losses to lesser fighters throughout his career.
It was a major style weakness which is why he lost both the Griffin fights. I dont think it was ever sorted out until Roach came along.
Typical post form a guy who knows very little about Toney. Toney fights the same way now as he fought Griffin. you probably even never watched the Griffin fights, the second fight was elected worst decision of the year.
Behave yourself No, he doesn't Do you think the guy in the Jirov and Robinson fights is the same guy in the Reggie Johnson fight? He lost both of those fights - Futch had pretty much perfected the blueprint to beat Toney by the time of the Griffin fights.
Bhops performance was ass. james would never pull **** like that. Further enhance my opinion of Toney. James is better than Bhop. An if they somehow met at a catchweight James would beat that ass
Your a dumb ****** who knows **** about steroids. You should know everybody in boxing is on steroids princess. Nice try though
Yeah sure they are atsch Toney has been busted MULTIPLE times, the fat ******* is probably still juiced up to his eyeballs. :verysad
Your gullible an stupid stop posting. You think boxers from amateur to top pros dont hit juice. Go sit in a corner
