We dont know yet if he is hall of fame bound or not.

This would be a great matchup,and a fight that no1 realy believes would happen,why?because they dont feel Mayweather would take the fight why?because people think Martinez is a huge threat to Floyd Jr why?because Martinez is currently #3 in the world and has proven himself to be a great fighter.

Both Floyd Jr and Manny have realy good resume's on paper if you ask me.On paper.There is more to consider looking into when comparing both guys resume's.

 

dude you are just trying to look at the most recent wins, I don't gauge a fighter like that. I look at the overall resume of the fighter and until Sergio fights someone of relevance aside from Williams and Pavlik, he cannot be considered as great as either PAC or Floyd, he needs to build his resume fighting guys way bigger than him like most ATGs have done in the past. Don't overrate Maravilla, he's good not great PERIOD

Pavlik and Williams were the two best guys in the division. Martinez has effectively cleaned out 160 aside from Chavez jr - who wants nothing to do with Sergio. So tell me, other than moving up in weight and fighting 168lb'ers, exactly who is Martinez supposed to fight of any relevence?
