Unless he is rushed, I think he will do better than most people think. Due to his kickboxing background I also assume that he is not one of those people who are overprotective of their 0. He has a high risk-high reward style and people except him to take a loss along the way and not write him off because of that. I see him reaching contender status in maybe 3-4 years.Anything above that is just impossible to tell at this point.

If they manage him the right way he might make it all the way towards a titlefight. But they have to be very careful with him.

Don't match him with strong chinned punchers.
Don't match him with dirty fighters, or fighters that can provoke him.
Work on his defence and dicipline.

He might be a big asset to HW boxing, he won't beat a Klitschko though.

    Who knows.

Give him 3 or 4 years, then make our decision.

A good fighter, But its too late to get into boxing IMO

His handspeed and power are elite for K1, not so special for boxing. Not to mention the style problems. Since hes a kickboxer he stands square and lacks the footwork. This wouldn't be a problem if he was a slugger but I dont think his defense/chin will hold up IMO

But as we've seen, many heavyweights. Especially big, powerful tall ones like Hari are still in their peak in their mid 30s.

He has plenty of time to learn.

Wasn't he the guy in the MMA gym on JCVD: Behind Closed Doors in Dubai who said he was going to win the heavyweight title in boxing? If JCVD says it, it will be so.

That is a K1 fighter who gets most of his opponents out of there with huge kicks. He doesn't even know how to box. Forget it.

Badr's boxing is rather sluggish...but mostly he's done in by his mental weaknesses and tha's the major reason he never won a K1 wgp to date despite being the best or 2nd best kickboxer out there at the moment.
I would love to see Gokhan Saki at Cw though....it's a delight seeing him mounting impressive 5 quick punches combo on his much bigger foes from K1.

Badr Hari is a poor man's Marco Huck but without chin. He's aggresive and fun to watch but crude.
