I do believe so. imho he's only a little better than ordinary, he's not a big middleweight, and Floyd won't have problems with him. He'll make it look eze. Martinez is hype, HBO loves him and the entire boxing establishment goes along because right now HBO IS boxing. Can you honestly tell me Martinez deserves #2 or #3 p4p over guys like JMM and Donaire? He hasn't even done as much as guys like Cotto, Soto, Gamboa, Segura... It would be a little tougher for Pac because he can't put on as much weight as Floyd.

man shut the **** up. Everybody in the world except you knows that Pac would fight him in the parking lot of Wild Card with 30 seconds notice.

    Yes.

Did you forget how high people had Williams rated?

Fighting bigger stronger men has never been a problem for Floyd Mayweather, what exactly does Martinez bring to the table that will trouble Floyd more than Pacquiao?

Why should he agree to a 6 week test, he already agreed unlimited urine and up to 14 day blood testing. There's nothing random about 6 week testing, show me proof that 6 week testing has ever caught anyone. 14 days is sufficient, he doesn't need to agree to it at all but he did.

Pacquiao is willing to fight according to the rules anytime, Mayweather is scared that he's on PEDS and doesn't want the fight.

Any ***** would take a bet that this while Floyd-Sergio fight talk is just cheap talk?

3 months ban or avatar bet, anything that suits any of you mother****ing *****s.

We all know Floyd will never take that fight, but you mother****ing idiots are still living in wonderland.

Williams was a good win, but not nearly as good as, for example, beating up Ivan Calderon twice. Plus there are other factors at play here, one being that Sexio had his eyes closed and head turned when he landed that left hook and that Williams has been shown as being a sucker for that shot by Lara.

Williams was a tough guy who not many people wanted to fight because of his thousand punches a round style, but let's keep it real. He got beat by Carlos Quintana.

That doesn't matter if he had his eyes closed. Boxers tend to close their eyes when they are expecting to be hit.

Williams vs Lara was showing that Williams was clearly not the same fighter anymore. He looked very timid in there.

You are also ignoring that he made Pavlik look dumb for the most part and ripped his face pretty good and I said before, I didn't think anyone was going to beat Pavlik for awhile.

He got beat in a close fight by Quintana. He showed that it was an off night by completely thrashing Quintana in the rematch.

He could of fought him before but instead he ran away. So why should I believe that he'll fight him now within 30 seconds?

I like watching boxing, I'm a Mayweather and Pacquiao fan, that is the bout I want to see...but if both sides can't agree (I don't project the blame on one side, especially when Arum is in the other corner) I want to see them face the best alternatives. The Middleweight champion is a ****ing very good alternative, whether you think he is hype or not.

wow, this thread started out with a bunch of mental ******ation....

a WHOLE LOT of *****s started jacking off and creaming up the place...

a WHOLE LOT of idiots jumping to conclusions as usual around here...

People were talking about a feasible fight at 160?!?! Kind of a big jump from 147 you think? Since when does Martinez speak for Mayweather anyhow?

Its an obvious tactic of Martinez to pressure Mayweather into a big money fight, and if he refuses, it just boosts Martinez's creds. IF Mayweather considers him, it would be at a catchweight under 154. Remember, Mayweather is really a Light Welterweight.

The fight isnt really worth it. I wouldnt care to see a dried out Martinez at 150.... And i think Martinez is just making **** up...

Pavlik who spent 1/3 of his training camp for the fight in a rehab facility?

My point wasn't that Quintana is the same level of fighter as Williams, my point is that beating Williams doesn't automatically make you top 10 p4p, unless you're an underwear model who HBO is in love with.

Sexio has had a string of very good breaks and the backing of the biggest force in boxing to put him where he is today, and he knows it, which is why he doesn't want to face guys like Pirog. He wants to cash out before his lucky streak is over. He damn near got derailed by the extremely ordinary Barker and then Barker's ****ing eardrum breaks from a shot to the neck. Sexio should be in Vegas shooting craps instead of training to fight.
