    Round 2

Good action, with Bolonti throwing tight and compact punches mostly from the outside and utilizing his much longer reach and Dos Santos trying to hammer his way inside and box Bolonti's ears in. Nice right hand connections from outside by Bolonti. Dos Santos waves an overhand left lead at him and Bolonti dances back on his toes with his arms down, Maravilla-like. Several fluttering left jabs to the face by Bolonti leaning inside with his feet still paces a few paces off from Dos Santos', and then Bolonti just leans back to realign himself and leave Dos Santos swatting at nothing. Clinch as Dos Santos dives in with an overhand left that misses badly. Bolonti flicks out his right glove and slap-parries another one that wasn't even close to landing anyway, just to show off.

    20-17 Bolonti

    Round 3

Bolonti is landing well from outside, but Dos Santos is keeping his forearms pinned to his face and lobbing desperate left hand leads whenever Bolonti eases off the offensive every several shots. Nice uppercuts by Bolonti now, backing Dos Santos to the ropes. Dos Santos reaches and misses with his left as Bolonti glides outside with his head and upper body tilted back. One left hand touches for Dos Santos, at the belt line. Bolonti is working left hooks and uppercut combos now, landing as effectively as with the 1-2 and backing Dos Santos up. Dos Santos is in the corner getting worked. He tries to fight back with some short looping lefts out of his tightly-tucked guard. Bolonti just leans back and them comes right back, thumping him hard with uppercuts between the gloves and slapping body shots with both hands. Overhand right to the back of the head as Dos Santos is slumped halfway against the ropes.

    30-26 Bolonti

See, ladies and gents - now THIS is an exemplary fan.

Backs his countryman with moral support even in a seemingly hopeless battle, but is still unbiased in his scoring. :good

    Round 4

Bolonti whips out some long lefts and rights, landing as easily to the body as the head and deigning to go with the easier target as Dos Santos covers his face with both gloves. Dos Santos is developing a bad habit of ducking down into Bolonti's attacks, and the taller Argie is refusing to pull his plummeting volleys and just cracking him on the upper spine and between the shoulder blades with lefts and rights. Dos Santos is in the corner getting HAMMERED WITH HARD RIGHT HANDS!! BRUTAL!! IT SHOULD BE STOPPED! HERE IS THE REF! HE GIVES A STANDING TEN COUNT??? WHAT THE ****! He ends up waving his arms anyway. Utterly pointless count. Dos Santos was getting destroyed there - gravity hadn't claimed him yet (thanks in part to the ropes), but he was out and getting creamed by extremely hard uninhibited punches to the head.

Is that a standin' 8, or KD due to ropes holdin' him up?

Weird ending. Counted the guy out even though he was standing on his feet the entire time so he could give a KO instead of a TKO. Never seen that before.

Matters only in the record keeping, of course.

For an instance of someone being "stopped on his feet", yeah - that's about as brutal as you'll ever see.

Dos Santos may be just one stoppage loss away from entering double digits in that category - but that is one tough mother****er. :respect I can't believe he never actually went down during that last blitz (or at all since the 1st).

Without knowing a lot of the context of the eight previous situations, I'm guessing he gets halted a lot due more to his style and being short on talent (just overwhelmed by better fighters and stopped due to non-responsiveness while getting flooded) than to a weak chin.
