It was in my opinion, and in the opinion of many others. (DemoDan had it close but clear for JVB as well, I believe?)

A few people have been crying robbery ever since. Pretty stupid, really. It was an ugly, shitty fight where Caballero didn't get to box as neatly as he wanted and got mugged in several rounds...but he did score two knockdowns. That and the fact that it was on Barros' turf (and that he was so heavily favored to win) has helped the legend of the "robbery" grow, although among people who've actually seen it, the consensus is that it was very close on the 10-point must system and wouldn't have been a robbery had it been won by either guy on short margins.

the last time these 2 fought. he has been with more up and comers lately. he has sam peter for about 2 weeks but dropped him because sam was too lazy. right now he is working with just celestino and dewey cooper as far as names go. there may be a couple big names added soon, but i am not at liberty to say

Yep. 114-112 Barros. Close fight, could have gone either way I felt. If Caballero stayed focused and didn't let Barros into the fight he could have won easily. Too much inactivity by Caballero throughout the fight, while Barros was pressing and throwing shots.

    Round 1

Caballero is right on his jab, letting it fly early and often. Long jabs by Caballero, staying tall and keeping distance. Barros worms his way in and slaps through with an overhand right into a clinch. Immediate break. Barros darts in and out from outside, trying to thrust a jab into Caballero's stomach. Caballero is coming forward cautiously, keeping his head held high out of range and his feet only inching forward in baby steps but pressing the attack with his long jab. Barros keeps darting in and out from far outside to just outside, never daring to get too close and position himself to score. Nice right to the body by Caballero ducking forward but still not getting into Barros' range. Flurry by Barros is ducked and he gets Caballero's head crooked under his arm. Nice double jab by Barros, but he doesn't follow up and instead circles rapidly to his left. Another headlock. Jab to the body by Barros, caught on the arm and he rushes in to lean against Caballero and tap hooks to the body. Caballero is coming forward and lands a jab and uppercut to the chest while turning his left shoulder in to lean into Barros. Jumping jab by Caballero!!! He is jumping right at Barros and spearing him!

    10-9 Caballero

Round one to Cabellero, he landed two or three good shots, but Barros was busier.
