I got Hopkins at 2.5 to win by decision at bet 365.
Bookies IMO expect Hopkins to win if he fights to recent level, but you never know when father times just gonna catch up so they playing safe.

You no what, I fancy Dawson in this 1. There's gonna be a time when Hopkins shows up as an old man, and this might be the time. Dawson has been written off something rotten by the fans, and I reckon he puts in a performance good enough to nick a decision

Can't see Dawson winning myself. The physical tools are there but he was getting outsmarted by Pascal ffs.

That is the bottom line. Hopkins is the best opponent Dawson has faced.

I'm never one to dismiss Hopkins now but many are really underestimating Dawson in this one. Alot depends on him and his mindset i believe he's working with John Scully who's a good coach plus fact i remember Hopkins struggling with Pascal early in first fight. Dawson will have his successes in this bout and i don't see it being so one sided.

Just my opinion but think this will be a good fight.

Yes, but considering that and that Dawson has looked **** against a guy Hopkins beat comfortably, it doesn't bode well.

I think Pascal caused Hopkins a lot of trouble early in first fight and many of the problems he caused he was same things he did to Dawson. His lateral movement and quick ambushes from range were hard for both men to detect. Hopkins though adjusted much better to the task and it was only late when Dawson pressed the action he actually looked like doing damage.

Dawson fights within himself because of his mentality which is don't get hit and then hit. When it should be the other way around when you have the weapons he has cos there's no doubting he has fantastic punch variation and is a good athlete.

I'm really looking forward to the GBP show and this i think will be a good match for the purists like ourselves.

Hopkins might be the best guy Dawson's faced but Chad has still been in with good solid names as well as the likes of Johnson, Tarver and Pascal in Canada. It's a really close one to call and the betting reflects that. I did expect Hopkins to be favourite but yet again people aren't quite convinced. Amazing really but every fight he's even older than last time.

Draw at 25/1 is pretty decent value
