Young Ronnie Heffron, great little fight and it will have improved him no end. Well done Schwarzenegger and gay Gregg(private joke), he looked a proper prospect there ;)

I must have been watching something different. Looked very average to me.

It was a fight against a much better than average "journeyman", yes he might have a **** record but he come to win and in the best shape of his career. good fight for 20yr old

Sadly Ronnie- for me- is not living up the high hopes I had for him so far in his carear(early days I suppose). He looks very! one dimensional. Pace turned out to be a good solid/game opponent though, and as Bunce adhered to, I hope he finds a proper promoter and gets a chance to develop properly. Dont wanna bash Farnell's methods but maybe Ron needs a trainer with better technical skills.

If Pace had a decent camp and trainer, I think he could have won that fight.

The kid is 20, long way to go and no rush. IMO you should not turn pro until 25+, better off in the ams

a prime example of that is Matt Hall, turned over way too young and thats the am trainers fault. He can still come again though, he just needs that confidence back.

Is there a point in sticking to ams until you're 25 if your not making the competition teams and want to make a living off boxing. Also Am boxing is a terrible development for the pro game now two different sports really.

I agree but you dont have to always fight at the top level of ams, maybe unlicensed might be a better education for the pro's but 18 is just too young.

none of Farnells' fighters use tried and tested boxing skills, as in a jab!!!

they just unload power shots and breath really loudly, just like Farnell used to do

i thought the lad was pretty average.

and i think Farnell is a below average trainer

    Ronnie is going nowhere. Fast.

    Too one-dimensional.
