had bellew winning it by 4 with 2 rounds to go.its a pity it came down to parris, what a wanker.117-112,**** off
Nahh, im a big Bellew fan and he lost that. Very very close and certainly closer than parris had it but even Bellew knew he'd just been beaten.
Should have been a draw IMO, maybe Cleverly just nicked it, but credit to Tony what a man and so gracious at the end, he thought Cleverly won it. Maybe when Tony watches it back he will see how close it was.
went down to fitness for me, i laughed off the 'fabled cleverly fitness' but to be fair it just got him through, just
I couldn't score that fight. No way didn't any man deserve to take a loss after such a contest. Toney was a loser tonight.
Bit wide but tbh at times i found Rawling's roaring on of Clev hard to understand, i had to sit back and really block out the commentary in end. I felt for workrate and bodypunching on inside i gave it just to Bellew.
Very close fight but I think Cleverley just pipped it in the end with his work. The two of them can hold their heads really high for putting on a fantastic fight. Very impressed with Bellew, espescially with that double jab. Impressed with Cleverley fitness and chin. I think the guy (Bellew) is a class act, honest and sincere. He's made me a huge fan. Both guys showed really class in the way they conducted themselves after the fight, espescially after the crazy antics of the last couple of months. 117 - 112 was a ****in ridiculous score though. Shame on that judge.
I think most people were swayed a bit by the home crowd to give it to bellew, he was leading it up until the 10th and then clev powered through the last 2 rounds, I scored it even, exactly the same as Enzos scoreboard. I thought the 117-112 and 116-113 were abit wide but a draw would have been a just result, with a point going clevs way. Still Well done to the lads for a great fight, hope to see them win their next bouts and have a return
I respect you as a poster, and always find you to be a fair scorer of fights. My wife agrees with me for the first time in God knows how long but we both think that Bellew won a close fight.
He really needed to come on strong in the last few, sadly he didn't, stamina was clearly low. Wouldn't have complained either way about a draw, a win for Bellow would perhaps have been a bit harsh on Cleverly. The scoring however from some of the judges was pretty crap.
