Hernandez beat Collazo by unanimous decision, 96-93 x3. He dropped him in the 9th with a left hook to the body.

 

It was reportedly very close, but his defense got shaky down the stretch and Hernandez's power got to him.

He is said to have fled like a coward in the 10th. :verysad

 

I'd prefer no discussion of that bout yet in this thread just yet. (to answer your question, I'm not sure).

The plan is supposedly for highlights of it to be shown on delay during the PPV.

So it probably has happened...or is happening very soon.

 

Andre Ward's cousin DonYil Livingston won his 6-rounder by UD against another unbeaten prospect.

 

Freddy "The Rail" Hernandez isn't a terrible fighter (even though I don't credit it as a great win for Berto, since it was a stylistic gimme for Dre).

He's just very, very slow. Powerful and decent technique, though. Similar to Roberto "The Threat" Garcia.

Come to think of it, Hernandez vs. Garcia would be a WAR. A snail's pace war, but a war. :yep Big shots landing both ways. Someone is probably not lasting.
