Bernard Hopkins vs. Chad Dawson & undercard RBR

Again: it was a non-PPV bout. It is not going to be shown on the PPV (or anywhere else, as I don't think there were even any cameras rolling while it was on since according to people reporting from ringside there was NO broadcasting of it anywhere), not even on tape delay. There was nothing to "spoil".

Malignaggi and Lora are in the ring!!

 

Round 1

Malignaggi lands a left hook to the face. Another. Right to the body by Malignaggi. Good aggressive start by Malignaggi. Jabs up from the hip landing for Malignaggi. Right hand lead to the body. Right hand up top. Lora is grinning at him and tucking his forearms up to block as Malignaggi steps forward with fast flurries. Long jabs to the body by Malignaggi. Lora reaches out and misses a right hand as Malignaggi ducks. Malignaggi steps to his right and tosses a straight flurry down to the belt line. Lora jabs at the chest. Malignaggi is ducking very low, below the waist and using wide movement around Lora. Nice blasts by Malignaggi, jabs and rights to the face from outside. LORA LANDS A RIGHT HAND!! Malignaggi is hurt!!!! Wobbled badly!!! Lora jumps on him and Malignaggi holds. Malignaggi circles left and flicks his jab out. Lora keeps pressing and tosses out jabs to the body from an advancing crouch. Lunging right to the body by Lora. Malignaggi blasts a quick combo off Lora's face while circling left.

Round 2

Malignaggi is jabbing high and hooking the body as he circles left, leaving plenty of room to operate. Lora keeps coming straight forward with his guard up, and not punching until up close. Lora is smothering himself by falling right atop Malignaggi. Nice sharp jabs by Malignaggi delivered off the back foot. Lora misses with some much slower jabs and badly telegraphed overhand rights as Malignaggi ducks and slips his way in and out of the pocket.
