Malignaggi is jabbing from the hip while circling left, and bending over to his right as Lora sends useless overhand rights sailing across his back. Malignaggi starts to pop the jab from higher up, pushing it out at chest level. Nice 1-2 by Malignaggi. Lora tries to jab the body, and rushes Malignaggi to the ropes to grab him in a rough clinch. Malignaggi dances away and lands a right hand. Lora rushes in and tries to manhandle him again but Malignaggi uses a veteran trick, giving him a little forearm shiver with the left with Lora between him and the ref obscuring the official's line of vision.

Round 5

Too much Vaseline on the eye, says the official. The round start is delayed as a result. Here we go. Malignaggi does doughnuts around Lora, jabbing comfortably with his left holstered low in between. Lora is coming straight in with an old-timer stance, elbows sticking out and alternating which hand is up by his face. Long scooping left uppercut to the body by Lora, falls well short. Malignaggi backs up and jabs, jabs, jabs. Lora presses in and claps his hips. Now a slap to the face as Malignaggi leans back. Malignaggi tries to grab Lora to contain him but has to duck a clubbing shot atop his head. Lora chases and fixates his jab on Malignaggi's chin, reaching and just brushing him. Lora makes slight contact now with a reaching right. BIG uppercut from Malignaggi, throwing with some power now! Heavy shots traded back and forth, until Malignaggi backs out of the pocket with a few sliding steps and leaves a trail of jabs. Right by Malignaggi.
