Malignaggi is landing lead rights from outside and dropping a few to the body. Lora is coming forward with a high guard, catching shots and marching up close to hack at Malignaggi with rights. Malignaggi quickens his pace, backing away and flicking out double jabs to the chin. Malignaggi has his left arm held straight down now, knuckles pointed at the floor. Malignaggi is circling quickly away. Lora marches up with bad intentions, but can't get past the Malignaggi jab bouncing off his face They tie up and each works their free hand. Malignaggi adjusts his trunks while backing slowly away from Lora.

Ugh. Lora's not a pretty man to begin with, and they are just SLATHERING petroleum jelly all over his craggy and cut-up face on the stool. :barf

 

Round 10

Malignaggi bodies up against Lora and they trade hard body shots! Good action in the first minute here, all infighting and leaning in. Shoulder to shoulder, they're letting their hands go. Uppercuts by Malignaggi, while seeking shelter from Lora's slow counter fire by burying his face against his chest. Malignaggi now backs out and draws Lora onto a lead right. Lora marches up, first standing straight and then crouching in. Malignaggi is turned sideways and crabbing across the ring with Lora in hot pursuit. Lora blocks lead rights with his high guard but can't lay a hand back on Malignaggi. Finally he gets close and they trade uppercuts to the body again. Looping right by Lora catches Malignaggi on the chin and makes him hold. The ref yells for Malignaggi to not hold. Malignaggi flees. Lora gets up close and Malignaggi holds. Ref says not to. Malignaggi runs away. Lora catches up. Malignaggi holds. "STOP IT, Paulie". Malignaggi is cut. It's ruled from a punch. BIG right hand by Lora, and Malignaggi sprints across the ring with his hands up.
