These guys said DeMarco is a very good opponent. He's not, and he's never proved anything. :-(

    Round 2

Linares is circling and jabbing well. DeMarcois trying to work past the jab with his own but can't quite beat Linares out for speed or accuracy. Linares circles left with quick steps and keeps the jab pumping. DeMarco has his head snapped back by jabs when standing straight up, and is out of position to throw anything back when he ducks down or leans all the way back. He is pretty much putty in Linares' lavender-colored mitts.

    20-18 Linares

I liked Linares in the second round.

    20-18 Linares.

Linares is looking pretty good but there is some exaggeration here by the HBO commentary team.

Demarco is not the style that a guy like Linares looks good against.

 Is that still on television? How many "he shoved nine thousand paper clips through his feet, because he thought it was beautiful" and "dude was born with 34 toes and no fingers" types can you interview?

:blood...:rofl I like wax BHOP. He ain't happy at all. Not intimidating, so much as pouting/confused. Almost as if he's thinking 'Is that how you trash talk, Chad? ...da ****?'

    Round 3

Linares is landing very nice crisp jabs to the grill while circling left, and working in right hands where appropriate when DeMarco leaves an opening. DeMarco for his part is trying his best to find a path inside, but one isn't available to him. DeMarco just blocks as many jabs as he can coming forward and takes wide swings with his left and right once in range, missing. Linares hops on his toes and jabs out, looking very confident and comfortable. Nice 1-2 by Linares. LEFT HOOK by DeMarco!! He slaps his fists against his thighs, either excited to have landed or frustrated for not having thrown and landed more.

    30-27 Linares

eh I hope Linares gets Demarco out of there. I don't really want to see 9 more rounds of Demarco flailing like a newborn colt.

    30-27 Linares.
