Even the commentators agree it should be NC or DQ, he picked hopkins up off the ground, both feet left the ground and he threw hopkins to the ground with force, he injured hopkins shoulder, ref asked Hopkins can you contuine, Hopkins says YES, ref says no you cant you have a lump on your shoulder. Fight stoped REF has rulled it a TKO. Bhop lawyers will be all over it, you cant use a foul to TKO a guy. And you certianly cant pick up a boxer and throw him to the ground, its not legal. No one wins today, its another black eye for boxing.
I am pretty disgusted by the whole thing really, on another note I had a lzy hundred on Hopkins, is it worth holding on to my ticket or will tab not refund if the result is changed to a nc?

Fight should have been a no contest IMO. Another disappointing day on a Golden Boy card. The next 2 big ones being Top Rank cards (Pacquiao-Marquez III & Cotto-Margarito II) & being rematches of great fights i cant see either being controversial as much as Hopkins-Dawson today & Floyd-Ortiz last month.
He had a bump on his shoulder so im guessing it did but wont know for sure until i watch the fight again. It should have been rulled a NC at the very least. If it wasnt true you would think the ref would come right over and set the record straight, after all he was in the ring whilst hopkins was saying all this.
What was Hopkins doing on Dawsons back in the first place? I had a bet on a Dawson KO, so result stands. Ner ner.
