Yes it should be but maybe many people might see Hopkins as too old or don't like him and keep it a TKO.

let me educate you. There was no foul from Dawson, BHOP hurt himself and was unable to continue. Therefore, it is a TKO. If there was a foul(example would be a headbutt) and BHOP couldn't continue then it would be a no contest.

Betting lines don't care if it changes to a nc after the fight. Whatever the ruling in the ring is what pays

there was no throw, he shrugged him off. How the **** do you fall down when someone shrugs you off. Typical BHOP bull****

It was an illegal move either way you put it. Much like Nate Campbells result was at first a TKO, then changed to a NC because upon review, it was clear it wasn't a punch that caused the cut, but an unintentional headbutt.

Intentional or unintentional, this was blatantly against the rules and SHOULD BE overturned.

Wrong, Hopkins was down from contact that was not a clean punch

    From WBC rules:

A list of common fouls that may be committed by boxers (or seconds,
where the context is appropriate) that may be cause for penalty or
    disqualification is as follows:

    2. Use of elbows, shoulders or forearms.
    ...
    20. Crouching the body below the opponent’s belt defensively or to
    strike
    ...
    28. Any rough tactics other than clean punches

It will be overturned but not because it was illegal but because if the california commission don't they won't get a big fight from gbp anytime soon.

    From ESPN;

The result seems likely to be contested by Hopkins. Even California officials acknowledged the first TKO on Hopkins' record could be erased on appeal.

    "He couldn't continue, so it's a TKO
for now," said George Dodd, the California State Athletic Commission's executive officer. "At this time, that's the call."

I think the judges saw through BHOPs bull****, they didnt buy that he was slammed and BHOP hurt himself which is why it was a TKO and not a NC

Not if they watch the fight tape in slo-mo. It is obvious that Bornard went down on his own.

Just remember CSAC, overturned Toney-Rahman and Bradley-Campbell. (I didn't write that I stole it from Steve Kim's twitter)

keyword there is "may" there wasn't any foul play coming from Dawson on BHOP's acting job. He fell down himself, there was no slam
